Dr. Chu graduated from the Institute for Immunology, Tsinghua University in 2015. She then completed her postdoctoral training at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University, from 2015 to 2020, after which she was appointed Instructor of Immunology and served in that role until 2022. In 2022, she returned to the Institute for Immunology at Tsinghua University as an Assistant Professor of Neuroimmunology and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2025.
